1. Creating a stable foundation

2. Preparing the surface

The substrate is carefully prepared before a primer is applied. This creates the appropriate foundation for the Mortex layers and helps ensure optimal adhesion.

3. Applying the Mortex by hand

The Mortex mineral finish is then applied entirely by hand using a trowel.

Rather than applying one thick coating, the surface is gradually built up using several thin layers. Each layer is carefully spread and worked by hand.
